Reflections on London’s Contemporary Galleries Week 2

Last week I talked about the West End of London’s art scene and how I thought it was very exclusive and how I wanted to explore the East Ends Art Galleries. But again the glamorous lights of the West End lured me in again when I went up to London to attend some Private Views. I don’t know why I didn’t go to the East maybe its the Big Names of the West of London’s galleries and this appeal makes me go back or it could be my reluctance to travel all the way to the East when I know the West End so Well. Ever way I’m glad I stayed in the West End of London this week. Attending my first ever Private view at the Royal Academy can’t be bad start! Both exhibitions I attended this week were there to sell work and it showed at Moffat Takadiwa Foreign Objects exhibition at the Tyburn Gallery the walls were crammed with work. I think by researching and going to more exhibitions at “selling” galleries which I attend to do next week.
