Advertising London Show


In a previous post I explained that with more advertising we would had a bigger footfall of people during the duration of our show. We now know that we need Facebook events promote on twitter and also in the local area press to get more people at the show. Furthermore, by leafleting the surrounding area around the gallery space a week before more locals would attended. Another way of getting a bigger audience is also to get in contact with the local universities fine art departments and invite students to attended..

The one form of advertising we as a group did was creating a Art Rabbit account and then creating am event for the show and also private view. Art Rabbit is a website which promotes contemporary art and creates a professional portal for the public to know about up and coming shows.

Overall promoting and also self promotion is an important part of the art world as people don’t know you exist if you don’t put your name our there.
